Invisible loyalties

‘Invisible loyalties’ is a concept developed by Ivan Boszormenyi-Nagy, a psychiatrist and innovator in family systems therapy. It describes the unconscious attachments, obligations, or behavioural patterns that exist between family members, especially children and their parents. Each work in this series can be seen as a representation of the system of relationships within a single family.
