Absence

Absence of sound, absence of scent, absence of colour, movement, people. What made them leave? Did something happen? Was it war? Natural disaster? Need for change? Were they ever really here? Some of us remember them, living behind thick walls, hidden, in isolation. Some of us don’t remember anything.
